What? You think you can just buy one of these for pennies on the dollar? Were you misled by someone into thinking that you could pick one up for the paltry sum of $100.00? Why is it that you all think you can just grab a perfect-condition M998 for pennies on the dollar? We live in a market-driven economy... no one *owes* you anything and it's pretty stupid for someone to think, "Hmm...I'm a cheap S.O.B., but maybe some sucker out there knows where I can buy a cheap-o HMMWV and then I can go play on my deer lease with it...after all -- I DESERVE to own an HMMWV...it's my God-given right as an American!" What planet are you living on, anyway?

I mean don't get me wrong, I believe all law-abiding Americans should be allowed to own a hummer, but your right to a cheap one is darn sure not any more important than any one else's desire for one. Only a total bonehead that wants something for nothing goes around to differnt message boards saying, "Duhhhh...I want a cheap hummer...tell me where I can get one now...[whine]..." In other words, GET A JOB AND PAY WHAT THEY'RE ACTUALLY WORTH!

Anyway, that's enough ranting for the moment. In time, a message board will be implemented and you can discuss M998 restoration issues but I will warn you now: Any messages asking where you can buy a "cheep Humvee" will be deleted on sight. I'm tired of hearing it from freeloaders like that...
